132. Filter (Draw): Speed Line

Tutorials

This function allows you to create speed lines. This effect, often used in manga, creates a sense of speed and makes the image more dynamic.

Once you have prepared a ① frame that you wish to add speed lines to, open the ② Tool Selection window and select the ③ Magic Wand tool.

Use the Magic Wand tool to select only the background of the character.

Then, open the ① Tool Selection window and select the ② Filter.

Select the ① Speed Line.

① Drag the Knob to change the position of the speed line. Move the ②Slider left or right to adjust the Length or Thickness . When finished, return to the canvas with ①✓ button.

That's it. Speed lines help to make the frame more dynamic.
