Bevel (Outer) makes it easy create a 3d image by adding thickness to it. It is useful for title logos and metallic letters. In this example, we will create metallic letters.
The difference between "Bevel (Inner)" and "Bevel (Outer)" is that "Bevel (Inner)" adds thickness to the inside of the target, while "Bevel (Outer)" adds thickness to the outside of the target.
Prepare the rasterized text. Open the ①Tool Selection window and select ②Filter.
Select ①Style and tap ②Bevel (Outer). Adjust the position of the ③Light Source. Set the Color, Height, Smoothness, etc., and tap ④✓.
Select ①Drop Shadow. Set the Radius, Angle, Distance, etc., and tap ②✓.
Finally, throw on a background image and you are finished.
You can produce more realistic images via metal textures on text or a gradient fill with the "Parallel Gradation" filter.
