In this chapter we will explain how to publish and print your Manga.

On top of illustrations, ibisPaint also lets you post multiple pages of manga(comic) to the Online Gallery. This is done via “My Page” in the Online Gallery.

To post multiple pages of comic, the following images are required. You should save them to your photo library upon creation.

①[Comic Banner] … One Image (Recommended size: W1380px H440px)

②[Comic Icon] … One Image (Recommended size: W1024px H768px)

③[Story Icon] … One Image (Recommended size: W150px H150px)

④[Manga] … Eight or more pages (Any size)

Once you have your comic Banner, comic Icon, story Icon, and manga ready, open the ①[Online Gallery] and select ②[My Page]. You will be prompted to log in if you have not already.

Select ③[Comic] and then tap ④[Add Comic]. Enter the ⑤[Comic Name], and set your artwork banner via the ⑥[Select File]. Then select your comic Icon via ⑦[Select File]. If you wish to change the chapter number display style, you can edit it via ⑧[Story Number Format].

Story Number Format will automatically replace the “?” with the corresponding chapter number. Without deleting the “?”, edit the style to your liking, whether it be “Part ○”, “Episode ○”, “Chapter ○”, etc.

Select your ⑨[Category] as required, and then use ⑩[Language] to select the language used in the manga. For more information on Artwork Categories, refer to ⑪[(i)].

Tap ⑫[Add Story]. The artwork settings will now begin saving. Once the artwork settings is saved, tap ⑬[OK] to close the dialog box.

Enter the ⑭[Story Name] and select the story Icon via ⑮[Select file]. Then use ⑯[Select File] to add the manga pages. In order to post multi-page manga to your Online Gallery, each chapter must be at least eight pages in length.

From ⑰[Complete], select either “Continue” or “Completes with this story”. If your manga continues beyond the current chapter, select “Continue”, whereas if this is the last chapter, select “Completes with this story”. Enter your ⑱[Artis Message] then tap ⑲[Publish]. Once the chapter settings have been saved, tap ⑳[OK] to close the dialog box.

Your manga is now on display. To add a new chapter, tap ㉑[Edit] and then ㉒[Add Story], then follow the same process as above.

To print your completed manga project, you must export the data that you wish to submit. The steps to export the data are as follows.

Open the Artwork Information window from the ①[(i) button] and enter ②[Title]. Set the title to "Title + page number." Also, to avoid any text rendering issues please use half-width alphanumeric characters for your title. (Text rendering issues result in it not being possible to filter or sort by file name, which can lead to printing errors.)

Select a file type from ③[Share button]. (Check what the recommended file type is for the printing company you are using.) Save the data to a desired location. Don't forget where you saved the data.
