56. Creating manga with Frame Divider tool
Frame Divider tool lets you divide frames, an essential function for making manga.
Prepare a rough manga drawing.
Open ① the Tool Selection window, and select ② Frame Divider tool.
Tap on the screen. Tap on ① Add Frame once it appears.
You can adjust the margins on both the left and right with ① Horizontal Space.
Use ② Vertical Space to adjust the top and bottom margins.
③ Frame Thickness lets you adjust the thickness of the frame.
④ Border Color lets you change the color of the frame.
Once you are done making adjustments, tap on ⑤ ✓ to finish.
Adjust the frame interval before dividing the frame. Tap on ① the Edit button.
① Horizontal Interval lets you adjust the left and right margins by dragging the slider left and right.
② Vertical Interval lets you adjust the top and bottom margins by dragging the slider left and right.
※Since manga is read horizontally first, and vertically second, it's better to make the horizontal margins small and vertical margins large.
Continue dividing the frame along the rough frame.
Once the frame is divided, Tap on ① Select and drag ② diagonally outside the canvas to select multiple frames.
You can also change the shape of the frame as shown.
Drag ① the handle to change the shape of the frame to your liking.
Tap on ① Edit button.
You can change ① the Border Color.
② Border Thickness lets you change the thickness of the frame by dragging the slider left and right.
Tap on ① Fill Color. First, start filling by increasing ② the opacity level from 0% by dragging the slider to the right. Select the color from ③ the palette to change the color inside the frame.
Once you are done adjusting, tap on ① ✓ to finish.
Once you are done adjusting, you can simply add it to the illustration and you're done.
