Find Edges (Handwriting) can find the edges in photographs and illustrations and create a hand-drawn line drawing-style illustration. In the example, we will find the edges in a photograph and create a monochrome illustration that seems as if it has been drawn with a pencil.
Open the ①Tool Select window and select ②Filter.
Select ②Grayscale from ①Adjust Color. Make the photo monochrome and tap ③✓.
Next, select ①Brightness & Contrast. Adjust the photo to be a little on the bright side and tap ②✓.
Open the ①Layer window. Tap ②Add Special Layer and select ③Duplicate Layer.
Open the ①Tool Select window and select ②Filter.
Select ②Find Edges (Handwriting) from ①Adjust Color. Set Thickness, Amount of Lines, Sensitivity, etc., and tap ③✓.
Open the ①Layer window. Select ③Multiply from ②Blending Mode and adjust the ④Layer Opacity.
Tap ①Add Layer and add a layer.
Open the ①Tool Select window and select ②Filter.
Select ②Noise from ①Artistic. Change the type to ③Grayscale and tap ④✓.
Next, select ②Moving Blur from ①Blur. Adjust Strength and Direction to your preference and tap ③✓.
Open the ①Layer window. Select ③Vivid Light from ②Blending Mode and adjust the ④Layer Opacity.
