You can apply straight and curved stripe patterns on illustrations and text with the satin filter. It is useful to express the gloss of glass and metal. In the example, we will make letters that feel transparent like glass.
Enter letters using the Text tool.
Open ①Tool Select window and Select ②Filter. A message will be displayed if you want to rasterize. Select ③Yes.
Tap ①Style and select ②Satin.
Set ①Color to Light Blue. Adjust the ②Light Source position, opacity, distance, and radius, then tap ③✓.
Open ①Layer window, and from ②Blending Mode, select ③Multiply.
From ①Add Special Layer, select ②Duplicate Layer and duplicate the layer. Change the duplicated layer’s ③Blending Mode to ④Soft Light.
Apply Drop Shadow filter on the letters and add a background image to complete.
